JW Associates is working on the Catamount Ecosystem Management Project for the US Forest Service on Pikes Peak in Colorado. The goals of the project are to reduce the wildfire risk and protect watersheds on Pikes Peak. This project is going through the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process for assessment of the impacts of implementation.
An open house scoping meeting was held on November 5th in Colorado Springs. A second meeting was held on November 18th in Woodland Park.
