Project Summary

The watershed assessment and prioritization for the Upper South Platte Watershed was the first watershed assessment of this type conducted in Colorado. The assessment followed a procedure prescribed by the Front Range Watershed Protection Data Refinement Work Group titled “Protecting Critical Watersheds in Colorado from Wildfire: A Technical Approach to Watershed Assessment and Prioritization”. This assessment was completed during the formation of the procedure. See the Watershed Wildfire Protection Group for more information. The report can be found below in the Documents sections.
